Web Design Internship: Providence Animal Rescue League
As a semester-long internship, I redesigned the website of Providence Animal Rescue League. I worked directly with HubSpot CMS (where their current site is hosted) to create a more eye-catching homepage that better prioritizes findability and their brand identity’s color palette.
I collaborated with other graphic design interns for certain parts of the homepage. One designer drew the static image at the top of the page while another designer created a new footer design. Additionally, I revised their tab structure for more intuitive organization. I also made adjustments for the mobile layout so that the image grid would still be easy to use on the smaller screen size.
I needed to make design adjustments by readjusting the image grid to 2×3 instead of 3×2 to ensure it would be user-friendly on mobile devices which are skinnier.
